We are pleased to announce that the Nyíregyháza Athletic Centre will host the Egyptian swimming team, who will come to us for a training camp under the guidance of Dr. Mohamed Marouf. 

Dr Mohamed Marouf is a successful and respected swimming coach nationally and internationally in Egypt and Canada. He has coached swimmers in both pool and open water who have set Canadian provincial records. He has been a head coach for university and club teams for over 25 years.

The team will consist of 11 swimmers and will train at the EISSMANN Nyíregyháza Municipal Swimming Pool from 6 July to 12 July 2024.

The exact dates of the training sessions are as follows:

06.07.2024: Afternoon training only: 16.30-18.30

07.07.2024 - 11.07.2024: Morning training: 8.30-10.30, afternoon training: 16.30-18.30

12.07.2024: Morning training only: 8.30-10.30

The team will use the EISSMANN Nyíregyháza Municipal Swimming Pool in 3 lanes at the times indicated above.

All interested are welcome to watch the Egyptian swimming team training during the preparation. We are proud that our city and our facility can host such a training camp for such prestigious athletes.
