The swimming pool offers excellent opportunities for both competitive and recreational swimming. The facility's two main pools - a 50-metre competition pool and a 25-metre teaching pool - provide an ideal environment for swimming, water polo and swimming instruction.

50-metre competition pool - for professionals and amateurs alike

The impressive 50 x 25 metre, 10 lane competition pool has an impressive depth of 2.20 metres and can be used transversely. Its design also makes it suitable for OB I water polo matches, as a certified water polo court can be set up in the centre court. The floor sleeves allow for the simultaneous training of several junior teams, while three separate youth training courts can be set up transversely. The pool is also suitable for international swimming competitions, ensuring that the city can host sporting events of the highest level.

The competition pool has a water temperature of 27°C, which is the perfect temperature for both professional training and recreational swimming. From 1 February 2025, residents will be able to enjoy free sporting activities from 06:00 to 14:00 on weekdays and from 1 February 2025 on weekends, which has been welcomed by the public. The swimming pool has become popular not only with local athletes and residents, but also with foreign swimming teams who have discovered its excellent facilities and are increasingly coming here for training camps to take advantage of the modern infrastructure and excellent conditions.

25-metre teaching pool - From swimming basics to confident water safety

Another of the pool's pride and joy is the 25x11-metre, 4-lane teaching pool, which has a variable depth of 0.80-1.30 metres. The design of the pool allows up to 50 people to swim at a time, making it ideal for teaching swimming to groups of pre-school and school children. The pool has a water temperature of 30°C, making it ideal for children to learn the basics of swimming in a pleasant environment.
