The Eissmann Nyíregyháza Municipal Swimming Pool is looking forward to a special period, as from 17 January to 19 December 2025 the Hungarian Swimming Federation will hold a training camp in the pool. The training sessions will be led by Viktor Kaliba, whose professionalism and dedication are widely known in the swimming sport.

Viktor Kaliba has been an active participant in Hungarian swimming for more than a decade and has gained considerable experience in the field of youth training. During his coaching career he has helped many talented young athletes to progress to international level. The aim of the catching-up programme he runs is to develop young swimmers who can still achieve success in competitive swimming.

Training dates:

17 January (14:00-15:30) - 2 lanes

18 January (8:00-9:30) - 2 lanes

18 January (15:00-16:30) - 2 courts

19 January (8:00-9:30) - 2 tracks

During the camp, pool guests will have access to fewer lanes during certain periods, but the programme will offer a great opportunity to get an insight into the world of high level swimming training. During the training sessions, it will be an interesting experience to watch the development of talented youngsters and the effectiveness of professional coaching.
