The Eissmann Nyíregyháza Municipal Swimming Pool will be temporarily closed from August 3 to 6, 2026. The closure is due to necessary repairs on the district heating network operated by NYÍRTÁVHŐ Kft.

During its annual, scheduled maintenance of the backbone network, the service provider detected a water leak in the district heating manhole located next to Szegfű Street. The repairs are necessary to ensure a safe district heating supply for the Örökösföld neighborhood before the start of the heating season.

The Eissmann Nyíregyháza Municipal Swimming Pool also receives its heat supply from the affected network node. For this reason, the heat supply necessary for the swimming pool’s operation cannot be guaranteed during the work. The temporary closure is therefore solely related to the service provider’s work on the external district heating network.

NYÍRTÁVHŐ Kft. will provide information regarding the full restoration of service; we will then announce the reopening of the swimming pool on our official channels.
