On Saturday, January 24, due to special sports programs, the usual public swimming will not take place at the Nyíregyháza Sports Swimming Pool, but active community events await those interested throughout the morning.

Between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., the Nyíregyháza stage of the Ötpróba Swimming Days 2026 will be held, where participants can collect points as part of the popular national recreational sports program.

At the same time, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., the Mozdulj Nyíregyháza program will take place in the teaching pool, offering lighter exercise options for all ages. The program is free, but a discounted ticket is required to enter the swimming pool.

The good news for local swimming enthusiasts is that on Sundays, the entire swimming pool is available to the public between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

So it's worth planning a sporty weekend: community programs on Saturday and undisturbed swimming on Sunday await guests.
