The Ötpróba Swimming Days series continues in Nyíregyháza: on January 24, 2026 (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.), swimmers are welcome to collect Ötpróba points in the pool. 

The aim of the program is to provide a sporting challenge in winter for those who do not like swimming in open water or who want to prepare for competitions. To participate in Nyíregyháza, you must register online on the official Ötpróba website.

You can choose from three distances at the event:

500 m – 1 point,

1500 m – 2 points,

3000 m – 4 points.

Whichever you choose, the points earned for completing the distance can be counted towards the Ötpróba series, which also contributes to receiving gifts and discounts for the series. 

The entry fee is a flat rate of 2500 forints per distance, and the price includes refreshments, timing with an ankle-mounted chip, use of the changing rooms, a downloadable certificate, and a swimming cap with the event logo, according to the official website of the Ötpróba Swimming Days.

The Five Trials Swimming Days are not competitive races, but community sporting events that allow participants to prepare, exercise, and collect points toward completing the series. Nyíregyháza's modern swimming pool will be the ideal venue for the first swimming day of the 2026 season.
